米国防省は、トモダチ作戦登録による７万人の兵士、民間人やその家族達の全身および甲状腺推定被ばく量と８千人の内部被ばく調査結果が、これ以上の調査を必要とみなされないレベルであるとし、トモダチ作戦登録の更新を中止する事にした。

☆米第7艦隊、原発風下から離脱 放射線検出受け

米海軍第7艦隊は14日、東京電力福島第1原発からの低レベル放射性物質を検出したため、東北地方太平洋沖地震の救援活動を行っていた空母ロナルド・レーガン（USS Ronald Reagan）などの艦艇を福島原発の風下から移動させたと発表した。

米第7艦隊は声明で「米第7艦隊は、一帯の大気と、付近を飛行した航空機の両方から低レベルの放射能汚染を検出したため、状況を評価して放射能の影響に対するどのような緩和措置が必要か決定するため、艦艇と航空機を福島第1原発から離れるよう一時的に再配置した」と発表するとともに「この気中放射能の発生源は、福島第1原発から放出された放射性プルームだ」と述べた。
