ケニア南東部の沿岸部で、１０日、武装したポコモと呼ばれる農耕民３００人以上が、オルマと呼ばれる牧畜民の村を襲撃しました。
地元の赤十字によりますと、この襲撃で、牧畜民の子ども８人を含む３８人が死亡し、１７０棟近くの住宅に火が放たれたということです。

38 people including nine police officers were this morning killed in yet another attack in Tana River. Nine others were injured after armed Pokomo raiders attacked a village in the Tana Delta in retaliation attacks by the Orma, just three days ago. Over 160 housing structures were torched in the morning raid in which 8 children and five women were killed. NTV's Rita Tinina filed this story from Tana River.
