恐怖新聞（きょうふしんぶん）

毎日、深夜0時に配達される新聞。ごく近い未来（翌日など）に起きる怪異がすでに記事になっており、その内容が外れることはない。

読むたびに寿命が100日縮む。抵抗すればするほど強引な方法で配達されるため、鬼形は購読拒否をあきらめてしまう。

強力な悪の霊団による一種の呪いだが、それ以外の死や他の悪霊の介入は排除しようとする。霊能力の無い人間が見ても普通の新聞としか見えない。悪の霊団は、なにかしら因縁のある霊を取り込み、配達人として使役する。配達人は、生きている人間を恐怖新聞で殺すことでしか解放されない。

意識不明の時のみは、読まずにすむ。
